Refund & cancellation policy
How deposits, course fees, and estate training days are refunded or rescheduled at Birchcore Agricultural Engineering School.
Eligibility
Refunds apply to course fees and deposits paid directly to Birchcore for scheduled certificates, workshops, modules, and agreed estate training days. This policy covers teaching services only; we do not sell physical product catalogues through this site.
Timeframe
Cancel in writing to info@filebirchcore.click. Cancellations received 21 days or more before the published start date receive a full refund of fees paid. Cancellations between 20 and 8 days before the start receive a 50% refund. Cancellations inside 7 days are not refundable except where Birchcore cancels the course.
Full or partial refunds
If Birchcore cancels a course, you may choose a full refund or a transfer to a later date. If a learner withdraws for documented medical reasons after teaching begins, we may offer a partial credit toward a future intake at our discretion.
Non-refundable items
Consumed materials packs issued on day one, PPE sets that have been worn and cannot be reissued, and third-party assessment fees already submitted are non-refundable.
Deposits
Deposits secure a place on a scheduled course. They are refundable on the same timetable as course fees above. Deposits may be transferred once to a later intake within twelve months if notice meets the 21-day rule.
Rescheduling
One free reschedule is allowed when requested at least 14 days before the start. Later reschedules may incur an administration fee of £75.
No-shows
Failure to attend without notice is treated as a cancellation inside 7 days. Missed individual sessions within a running course are not refunded; catch-up is offered only if tutor capacity allows.
Work already started & estate days
Estate technical training days already delivered are payable in full. If Birchcore has begun custom preparation for a closed cohort and the client cancels inside 7 days, preparation time already spent may be invoiced at the agreed day rate even if teaching has not started.
Purchased materials
Any optional materials bought on the learner’s behalf with prior written approval are non-returnable once ordered.
Refund process & timing
Email refund requests with your name, course, and payment reference. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 14 working days.
